Finish Products in July

✔Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Clear Skin Cream -- Quite a promise in this little tube of cream! But it held its claim pretty accurately. It is an amazing cream that prevents acne (with salicylic acid as its active acne fighting ingredient), and also contains retinol, which is an ingredient for fighting wrinkles. While I can't attest to its ability for wrinkle reducing, I found it to be an amazing product to help prevent acne, and this is the reason that I will keep buying this cream over and over again. Even though the tube itself doesn't look that big (1 oz), it lasted me a good 3 months with consistent usage, because you only need a small drop of product every time. It spreads easily and doesn't feel greasy. I use the cream more like a serum than a moisturizer, so I'd always top it off with a moisturizer afterwards to make sure my skin stays hydrated. Also, during the day time, I always use sunscreen, because retinol is known to cause skin sensitivity, making your skin more prone to sunburn.

✔Korres Vitamin E Face Primer -- Finally used up a makeup item eh? :) I loved using this primer, because unlike most of the face primers on market today, this one is a silicone free primer. I personally do not like the feeling of silicone based primer on my face and I feel that it makes my pores clog up more easily. This primer however, feels just like a light moisturizer. As far as oil controlling properties, it does a decent job, but since I do have an extremely greasy T-zone, especially on hot days, I do get oily after an hour or two after my makeup is applied (provided I did not use other mattifying cream or powder on top of my makeup that day). But then that's why I always carry oil blotting sheets with me everywhere I go.

Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 -- I really enjoyed using this moisturizer, and the SPF 20 is an added bonus. Keeps my skin stay hydrated, and a little goes a long way because it has a thick consistency. As far as skin tone correcting, I did not see any changes. I know Clinique has a serum in the same skincare line and I've read some good reviews on it, has any of you tried that and liked it?

NYX Concealer in a Jar in Medium -- woohoo! Another makeup item. Look at that empty pot! I am so proud of myself for completely using up this concealer completely -- I admit that it has taken me quite a long time to finish though. This concealer is creamy and offers excellent coverage over any blemishes on my face. I already bought a back up of it :)

The Face Shop Clean Face White Control Brightening Essence -- I went to my TFS to get the Spot Eraser, but they had ran out, and the sales associate recommended this serum to me. It is a light weight clear liquidy serum that he recommended me to apply before moisturizer every night. I loved the light formulation and the light floral scent. I paired it up with the Spot Eraser -- over time, I noticed that my acne scars faded significantly, I do hope that it was with the help of these acne-fading products. I probably won't repurchase the essence again, but just concentrate on using the Spot Eraser in the future.

Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Shampoo  -- The first time I used this product, my hair loved it. After every wash, my hair felt silky smooth, and there were also less breakage. However, my second time around was a different story. I used this shampoo after I finished up my LUSH New! Shampoo. In comparison, I felt that my hair was flat, it would get greasy more easily, and I was losing bunches of hair when I was brushing. I cannot explain why my hair didn't like this product the second time, but I have to admit that during the time period when I was using this tube of Pantene, I was also going through a very stressful time period. So I can't completely blame the shampoo for what happened to my hair, but now that I finished the tube, I had switched back to a new bar of LUSH New! Shampoo and my hair is loving it!

Kirkland Signature Hydrating Conditioner  -- Remind me to never buy those huge shampoo/conditioner bottles from Costco ever again. It took me forever to finish this huge 40 fl. oz. container! I do appreciate that it comes with a pump -- however it stopped pumping products once I was near the bottom and it was a pain trying to dump products out each time after. For someone who loves to try new products all the time, it took a great amount of patience to finish this humongous bottle. hahaha. As far as the conditioner itself, it didn't stand out to me as something outstanding, just your normal average conditioner I suppose. I personally do not like hair products with "hydrating" properties, because that tends to weigh my hair down.

Ulta Smoothies Body Moisturizer Body Whip Cream  -- Read my review here to learn all about it!

True Blue Spa Sleep It Off Overnight Anti-Aging Hand Serum  -- I had bought this product from Bath and Body Works. I was drawn to its anti-aging claim and its light serum formulation. It was a nice product to use in the summer time without dealing with the heavy greasy feeling of hand creams. The scent of the product is a light citricy scent that I really enjoyed. My only complaint about this product is the packaging. It comes in a pump bottle and the base pushes up as you pump, but that failed to pump out product about half way through the bottle :T

Pond's Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes   -- There are 30 towelettes in each package so one pack lasts me about a month, which is perfect. It is also a good product to use after a hot and sweaty gym workout to refresh myself.

And I WANT THAT NYX CONCEALER!! I would faint of happiness if it fell from the sky! It's soo hard to find, I don't think it's available at all in Canada. =(
